"Raising G-Rated Kids in an X-Rated World" is a series about connecting with kids in today's culture. This series is for everyone - whether you are a parent or not. Why? Because Jesus himself instructed all of us "not to hinder the children" from finding him. The real struggles that we face today of family dysfunction, broken relationships, and a changing culture can leave us feeling lost both as a parent and as a child. With a Biblical foundation, Pastors Dave Roberts and Darrin Plant lead us on a journey to discover God's design for our specific roles in connecting with kids today.
Dave Roberts serves as lead pastor of Montrose Church near Los Angeles, California. He and his wife, Cyndi, began leading the church in 1988 with a core group of 20 people and a vision to reach the community. Today, Montrose Church offers five weekend services to over 1,000 people in attendance and continues to strive to be a safe place where life's struggles can find healing.
Dave and Cyndi reside in Glendale, California with their four daughters and three male dogs.
